I bet it still ends up being something substantial and not your run of the mill class action settlement

I am still blown away that the NFL and it's lawyers somehow lost this case. So basically they lost because they only allowed Directv to sell the product and no other outlets?? You would have thought they had some verbiage somewhere that they got by with that from the beginning. Don't we have an attorney in this group? I'd love to hear their opinion.

I believe the issue is they colluded with their partners to limit competition and worked with DTV to inflate the price, as it states in the OP.

NFL should be sued as well for giving EA exclusive rights as well

Apparently NCAA 2025 is the bomb

NCAA is legit good, they were wise with keeping dynasty mode pretty much the same as it used to be rather than reinventing the wheel. It feels more polished than Madden for sure.

NFL Rumors
@nflrums

The NFL Sunday Ticket settlement is around $4,000 to 5,000 a customer per report

That would come to 12 billion if my math is right. Remember the attorneys will get around 30 to 40% off the top.

This wasn't worthy of a new thread. So this seemed like the most relative thread to put this in:

Judge blocks ESPN, Fox, Warner sports streaming venture Venu

https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/40884759/judge-blocks-espn-fox-warner-sports-streaming-venture-venu

I'd sign up for this and get rid of Fubo. So I can see why Fubo is suing. They wanted a sports only package but the companies that blocked them are just taking over.

Also, no way Venu would keep the price anywhere near $42.99 for more than a year. Hell, it would probably be $99.99 in the not too distant future.
