this group doesn't rush decisions that don't need to be made yet.
DQ would not project who would be starting at tackle this week when asked. They've said JD will start when he's ready (it'd be shocking if it's not week 1). It's been pretty consistent.I will be floored if he's not the starter week 1. He'll be ready. If the oline is ready is the question. Kingsbury needs to draw up lots of deep routes. Daniels is lethal with these. One of the finest deep ball passers I've seen. Oline must give him time.

Good for the Bears but I don’t see any need to name any starters just yet, we just finished the first rookie camp lol
As long as Daniels gets the majority of the 1st team snaps i could care less if they name anyone a starter. I just don't want to see them splitting reps and taking away from Daniels development.

that's why we drafted the bigger slower guys (sinnot, mccaffrey) and signed ekeler. It really feels like there's some potential to be good this year.

Good runner and receiver. Ertz and Sinnot should be good also. Love this offseason. Absolutely killed the skill positions/qb in draft/fa.
Love the eckler addition for sure. As well as a TON of the rest of the offseason and draft
..
I'm just like everyone else, HIGHLY concerned... about the OL and just repeating last year's mistake with a young QB all over again 🤷

I will remain patient though. They did sign some guys and more hopefully soon. Daniels has superstar and playmaker written all over him.

It's safe to assume they watched the tape, there's no way they don't know that Lucas/Wylie/etc. are garbage. Two routes here - either they think they can fix them or they are hoping to make more moves.

Two routes here - either they think they can fix them or they are hoping to make more moves.Or a combination of the 2. Either way, the unit will need to be improved. Daniels was the best qb in the country last year in D1 football. His oline definitely did their part. Most uneasiness going into season for this unit.
