Mac Jones now begins his NFL journey as a career backup.
Denver is paying Wilson $38M to not play for them. Amazing how far he's fallen.
This is why its so crucial to land that QB Pick...
Look at how many 1st round guys move around all the time.
In fact the QB classes of 21 and 22 were bad

Higgins wants to be traded. I'm actually surprised by this cuz there were talks about Burrow, Chase and Higgins wanting to stay together but I suppose Bengals have different plans.
And no, I'm not saying that we should trade for him. I personally like Higgins but we have other needs that need to be filled urgently this year.

Russ gets 38 million from Denver, plus whatever the Steelers pay him, gets away from Payton and is in a better landing spot. Sounds like he's still winning.

using hindsight but i am sure this time year before those drafts the "experts" were all talking them up as the next great thing
I say I want JD but really i want whomever Adam thinks is best and if he thinks there isn't anything worthy of a number two pick then trade away and start filling holes

Bears sign Swift for 8m py, alot for a RB.
Ian Rapoport
The #Bears are expected to sign former #Eagles starting RB D’Andre Swift as their new starting running back, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
He gets a 3-year, $24M deal

There goes Greenard
Nicki Jhabvala
Pass rusher Jonathan Greenard agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings, source confirmed.

Winning at the bank, sure. His reputation sure has taken a hit these last 2 years.

The Steelers win some with putatively BAD QBs. I think they made a decent move here, because it costs them so little to have a guy who is decent and experienced.

I'd like to see the Commanders "fix" some position groups for the next five or more years via FA by signing good young players. For starters I would like to spend big on two players who can anchor our defense and offense, respectively. I'm looking at Patrick Queen (24) at LB and Mike Onwenu (26) at RT. We'll need some less expensive players in FA, as well. I like Dorance Armstrong (26) at Edge and Andrew Van Ginkel at LB/Edge. These moves could get us most of the way at LB and Edge and lock down the right side of our OL.
In addition, we could add some quality older vets on one or two year deals at positions of immediate need such as LT, C, LG, or CB. This would also move us closer to being able to implement a BPA draft strategy or to move up in the draft to grab another young starter.

I'm sure he'll be in Andrew Brandt's Business of Football Hall of Fame list, along with Kirk Cousins.
