Didn't we just draft him last year?
Yeah, he'll be a back up Guard. I guess it depends who else they sign for the o-line. Right now I would put Cosmi and Wylie as starting guards. I think the next FA o-line signing has to be a tackle though.

I'd imagine he will be competing to start at guard.
Ron drafted him, higher than most had him, shortly before drafting Braedon Daniels. The new front office might not have had that high a grade on him. They have no personal investment in him wherever Ron took him

I hear that, new regime = no loyalty to the current players and they may very well have a different evaluation of him. But I also think our OL was so thin bringing in a proven starting center to pair with a rookie QB is just smart business. Nothing wrong with quality depth if that's all Stromberg ends up being.

Wonder why the Cowboys let Biadasz walk? He started all 49 games the last 3 years and his stats show he was pretty great blocking. Didn't want to pay him 10 million a season?
I love the Biadasz move. Now we just need 1 guard and 2 tackles.

They cant afford him right now.. I suspect they are looking at the Oregon centre, Powers-Johnson, in the first round... very good player in that range, maybe see him as a new Travis Frederick

3 years $45m for Armstrong
This is a lot of money for a guy who won't have Micah Parsons to draw the heat off him.
I trust Quinn though. Hopefully he's seen enough to think Armstrong deserves a bigger role.

New LB
Adam Schefter
Former Panthers LB @frankluvu7 agreed to terms on a 3-year deal with the @commanders for a maximum value of $36 million. The deal was confirmed by agent @blakebaratz at @teamifa.

The base value is apparently 33m , so 11m py, with the rest as incentives. Hopefully it is a matter of Quinn and DeWhitt knowing how to use him
Two threads why! Lmao nothing but praise and potential for that Carolina LB tho.
