My estimated odds:

30% - Trade up to No. 1
60% - Pick best BPA at QB at No. 2
10% - Trade down for more picks

60% of the time it works all the time. Nice

I am slowly warming up to trading up for Caleb. We just have so many damn holes. If we could still acquire a quality OT and G plus some defense through FA I would be completely on board. The only reason I don’t like Caleb is his height and that is a terrible reason.

That didn't derail his career. His inability to play at a high level did. Guys come back from knee injuries all the time.

He's kind of corny but I like listening to him doing media. But every now and then his narcissism comes out.

I can not stand RGIII, and I was one of his last supporters. I now feel like a scorned lover.

I will never understand why Kirk got so much more hate than the diva who refused to run the plays that made him good, never took accountability for his poor play, blaming his teammates instead, apparently spent more time in the weight room than the film room and never really committed to learning how to be a good QB. Kirk did none of this.

I have a question. Obviously Peters has already compiled a lot of work for this draft. But he was working for the Niners. Can he take his work with him to Washington or would that be the property of SF?

If you keep him until another team gets desperate due to an injury or another coach's hubris makes him believe he can turn Howell into a star, then you might get considerable more than a late round pick, maybe even a couple of mid rounders.

Anything is possible. Kingsbury might even think he can make something out of him and not draft a quarterback at #2. Who knows?

Love all the old accounts coming alive!

Don't downplay the importance of a QB.
The Chiefs don't win a playoff game without Mahomes.

If Caleb Williams is even close to Mahomes in talent, I would sell everything to bring him in.

The good news is leadership brought in a guy that coached both Caleb and Mahomes.
If they do or don't trade for the 1st pick, it's probably the correct decision.

Next question is how close is Daniels.

That is the best take thus far. Bravo!

guys come back from knee injuries all the time, but RGII's was SEVERE . . . MCL, PCL, ACL, Meniscus and something else in a knee he had already had surgically repaired twice in college. He lost a couple steps for sure from what he was and another difference is that he relied on those legs too much . . . so he and his injuries were to blame.

True. If the new leadership believes they can develop Daniels into a Top 10 QB, then they may not feel the need to sacrifice a lot of talent for Williams. That would set us up to stay at #2 and reap the benefits.

Richard Sherman and I think the Commanders might make a BIG trade offer to Chicago for the #1 pick which will be Caleb Williams.

Given the updated trade value chart most the trades I've seen have the Redskins wildly overpaying. Its a 400 pt difference in value between picks that equates to our#2 with our two 3s and a 5th. We'd technically be overpaying if we sent our lower second round pick with our 1st, yet everyone has us trading our higher second and a 1st rounder next year and more.
