Truth is we really don’t know much about any of these guys. Johnson sure can scheme up an offense but we don’t know if he can lead a team.
This is pretty much where I'm at.
And for all we know, it was a mutual decision that it wasn't going to work out for both parties involved.
Either way, I'm good with it. I was sort of getting 'excited' about the prospect of him coming here and making something out of this offense and whatever QB starts next year. However, he's not the only one that can potentially do that.
The favorite now is probably Macdonald, and I think that is who I am hoping for at this point.
If not Macdonald, then it's probably going to be Quinn or Glenn.

Slowick staying with Texans.. I'm hearing the Ravens guys are most likely to stay one more year , Gotta think Quinn is gonna be our HC .. we didn't even interview Vrabel I guess he is not deemed worthy of interview ( coach of year in 2021)

He isn't ready for the next step either. He's Ben Johnson 2.0. Just because you are a successful coordinator, doesn't mean you are meant to be a Head Coach, or that you would have any success in that position.
Another one off the list that probably didn't belong there in the first place - after further review.

If MacDonald doesn't come here, go interview Vrabel. Vrabel>Quinn

Bring back Rivera.
😳😀...Andy Reid is older been around the league so you don't have to hire the new kid on the block coordinator to be successful..maybe just maybe the correct formula is the Older/experienced Head coach(that doesn't have to be the GM) that has the young coordinators !

Exactly. Look how many great OCs end up being terrible head coaches.

At this point the young coordinators hold all the cards . They can demand their pay and amount of years on contract and the control.. if we or seattle don't agree they will just stay put on a Super Bowl caliper team instead of coming here to a rebuild.
