@RapSheet
#Ravens promising DC Mike MacDonald received a request to interview with the #Commanders, source said. One of the bright young minds.
He would be a seamless fit with Eugene Shen. Add Joe Hortiz as GM and the trio of former coworkers would get off the line faster than a Corvette.

Then your boy is a soft pussy ass bitch that lacks confidence.

in the past we go to morgues to find potential candidates
I had a coworker as in a meeting today if I was interviewing to be head coach of the Commanders. I told him those days are behind us my friend.

I like that all of the top candidates are in the conversation.
In the past there was no way we'd have a shot at even sitting down with most of these guys. It's a whole new ballgame without Snyder.
It's like playing a video game, where to advance to the next objective we need to find the key so we can unlock the door.
The key was Snyder selling, and now we've unlocked the door. No telling how many bright minds declined an interview here because they didn't want to work for Snyder.
I like to think Ron played some role in convincing Dan to sell. At some point someone probably had to convince him to take the money and run. And for that alone, I thank Ron. This time feels different.

Highly regarded is cool...Results are better.
RR was/is highly regarded...
As a person or a Coach? He got shitcanned in Carolina. 3 winning seasons in 13 years. Most people do not get the chance to be that awful for that long so yeah he is apparently a great guy. A highly respected and regarded guy. But anyone who holds him in high regard as a HC is confused.
3 winning seasons in 13 years. My goodness.

LOL, simmer down my friend. I can see the smoke from here.
He's obviously highly regarded as an individual - as a man. I wouldn't hire him to be my HC or GM if I owned a NFL franchise, but I don't doubt that he is highly regarded by some as a Coach, maybe a DC, maybe a HC. He'll likely get another shot in some capacity.
He was the right guy at the right time for this franchise, but he didn't get it done, obviously.

A thorough listing of all the candidates (https://twitter.com/CoachBreeze_/status/1744397186929209521) we're going to be interviewing :D
I know Twitter is a cesspool but I find it useful for keeping up with all the various sports reporters I follow.

When asked if he had a love for football, Myers said, “What’s fascinating about the NBA is the superstars. They’re so powerful. I think football, unless you’re the star quarterback, it’s a team. It’s a defense. It’s an offense. And bring together 40, 50 people trying to row in the same direction seems to me a great challenge to build out something like that. I think in the NBA, if I went to the store and bought a puzzle, the NBA puzzle is like 20 pieces. The NFL puzzle trying to put that together is a 100-piece puzzle. That’s to me the fascinating part about the NFL. There’s offense. There’s defense. There’s special teams. There’s the salary cap. The way they structure deals!”
Good read on Bob Myers. He was not responsible for drafting Steph Curry or Klay Thompson but it's clear he had a big role in making those championship teams that won 4 titles in 6 appearances. Yes - he's not an X's and O's guy but he knows leadership and what's necessary to win consistently.
Another quote from this Athletic piece on him (https://theathletic.com/5187462/2024/01/08/bob-myers-josh-harris-commanders-coach/).
“You’ve got to respect each other,” he said. “You’ve got to understand that some days, you don’t have it. And your teammates need to pick you up. It’s the houseguest that stays too long. Sometimes you just need space. And it’s nobody’s fault. You need to yell at each other; you have to tell each other how you’re feeling. There’s acrimony, there’s division, there’s everything. But as long as you don’t break. You have to view it almost as like a family — that no matter what happens, we’re blood, and we’re going to see it through. But that’s a challenge, because you’re really not blood, but you’re as close as you can get, ’cause you’re with each other all the time.”

I get what he is saying but I am rolling at the analogy of a 20 piece puzzle vs a 100 piece puzzle. That had me laughing
