My thinking was Ron felt like they were going to go for it. It was 4th and 1 so he wanted to push them back farther, not for the FG, but to play defense and make a stop.


It was 3rd and goal from the 5 when he took that penalty. Would have been 4th and goal from the 5.

Chase Young is playing his best since his rookie season

This is bs. If you watch he gives up at the end of every play even if he is right next to the pile. He has one play bull rush to the qb, and if the qb gets out of his sight he just stops. Does it on every play. NYG line is so bad, Pugh isn't even a tackle and he still was only so noticeable. (Yes I know the broadcasters gushed over him)

Worse than that. Lack of preparation.

The Bears and Giants have many weaknesses. We should come out of the gate playing as though we have a plan for how to rip them to shreds.

This is absolutely the truth. Seriously, what is the worst that can happen, we have been embarrassed by a team on a 14 game losing streak, a division rival that is 1-5, and eked out 3 miserable wins against equally miserable teams.
