Is it a new move to have the Sponsored Links tag under the first comments in a thread?
I've never seen that here before.
I'd seen the links as we have those on our site too in a main area but not as a Top Level Ad in each thread.
Making any more money with this move? Looks a little spammy but that's just my humble opinion.
Has it been like this and I didn't see it or did you guys change this this weekend?
Thanks for the work guys

Rest assured, the mods and Matty aren't getting rich. As this site grows more popular, the bandwidth demand increases. That costs money, and since we provide as much free content as we can handle, this offsets the costs that donations don't cover.
I'm just experimenting with the ad placement.
The money generated from the adsense ads is very insignificant. If it clears a dollar a day it's a miracle.

Hey guys please do not take my observation wrong.
We have those same ads and look to make $20 this whole year so no I don't think you are trying to gouge us I was just asking.
I have NOTHING but respect and thanks for the owner/Admins of this great site I enjoy.
A $1 a day?
Even that helps a site for sure.
peace
No problem with asking SBF, I understand your concern. Believe me, the last thing I want to do is to chase people away with annoying advertising. But at the same time I'm just trying to balance that thin line between covering the site expenses and keeping the site a user friendly place. I'm sure you know how it goes.

would you make less money if you put them at the top above the title or the google search thing instead of in the middle of the discussion?

Matty, do you get money for people just clicking on the links, or do they have to buy somthing or what not?

That's where they were previously and they weren't receiving much attention
