How do you define fine? Is fine winning or not getting embarrassed by good teams? Is fine coming out in each half flat and than fighting to make things respectable? Also camp shmamp, every fan of every team thinks their team will be fine before the season starts. Im thinking 8 wins tops this year.

I guess you'll be surprised like most, this isn't the team of years past. They have to deal with EB and he won't let up, the OL is better than last year and younger, still need a better T than Jay Leno. Howell will have the benefit of a solid running game and wide receivers, the D will be much more improved especially on the Dline and CB,S positions. I expect playoffs and they will make it.

I think we are on the right track - hell Snyder is gone whatever track we are on it’s better! You know i love Sam. Think he will be here for years.
I have serious reservations about the oline. No way I expect the playoffs. Not this year. I completely, as always, appreciate your optimism. But like KI said, show me (not in camp).

Every year you scream playoffs in the pre season SF. One of these years you can finally say I told you so! It will be 2024. Lol.

Very good assessment of the team and the o-line. The o-line last year was atrocious, so was the coaching, and the QBs.

I think that having a healthy S. Charles, adding Nick Gates and Wiley, and having Cosmi full-time at guard is a major improvement over last year. Yes, they need to gel better, but I think people have forgotten how awful the line was last (remember Norwell and Trai Turner? :puke: )

I trust EB's coaching and his ability to adapt a million times better than Scott Turner. That is a big improvement and it will make a difference with the offense.

Finally, have people forgotten how f*cking awful Wentz and Heinicke were?

I'm all for being cautiously optimistic, and injuries can always derail a season. But I think people forget how bad the offense was last year (outside of WRs and RBs).

If Rivera had played Howell the last 3 games of the season instead of hoping for Wentz to magically play like his old, old self, the team would have made the playoffs.

I think they sneak into the playoffs. They were one game away last year, and by all accounts, this should be a better team than last year's team. I can't think of a position group that isn't either the same or expected to be better based on the offseason moves. Have to go out & prove it now.

8-10 wins is what I see. 9 probably gets you in. 10 is pretty much a lock. It would be sweet to get double digit wins the 1st Snyderless season.

But this year is already a win. Starting in 2024, I expect to actually have a chance to make some noise in the post-season.

Draft 7 offensive lineman in 2024 if that's what it takes.

I didn't know Obada was also put on IR?

Our schedule has 7 wins written all over it. Hate to be that guy but….

All I really want to see this year is Sam ball out. There are going to be major changes after this season and then it is on. Just keepin it real. Lol.

You are giving other teams more credit than ours.

I can see why you would say that. It's not the easiest schedule.

- I think we can go .500 vs the AFC East.
- I think we take 4/7 from Chicago, Arizona, Denver, LA, SF, Seattle, & Atlanta.
- I think we go at least .500 vs the NFC East (we went 2-3-1 last year).

That's 9 wins... I'm thinking 7 is the floor and 11 is the ceiling.

Hopefully the ball bounces our way this year more than it doesn't.
