If they gave EB the interim position it would also be a positive spin. I definitely do not think they will do it but I just don’t think it would be as bad a look because of the situation. Unless the team truly implodes, I doubt that happens. Mid-season firings are seldom seen as justifiable (except recently for Urban Myers) and more of a sign of a team management dysfunction.
