sdskinsfan2001 10-24-2024, 10:44 AM Try looking into a mirror sober.
My late-night posts are more coherent than any drivel you post at any time of the day. I don't start work until 9:30 a.m. (and I work from home), so I am up every night until midnight/1 a.m. every day. So yes, most of my political posts are at nighttime because I don't want to discuss politics while I'm working.
Get some new material, you boring-ass, old, simpleton.
Giantone 10-24-2024, 12:48 PM We were discussing the interview with Brett Baier, then you went on this tangent about Harris' economic plan. Always trying to control the story. That's why you constantly spam the political threads for going on 8+ years now. Can't wait for 4 more years of it too.
I didn't say anything about Trump's plan. On that note, I do need to read-up more on the exact effects of tariffs. I'm not really for or against them right now. Don't know enough about them to make a decision on them. Not going to vote for Kamala over tariffs though.
Also, Biden has kept most of the same tariffs as Trump implemented. Did Kamala say she was going to get rid of all of them? On one hand she keeps trying to say she's the "change" candidate then on the other hand has said she wouldn't do anything different than Biden. So who knows?
https://taxfoundation.org/blog/biden-trump-tariffs/
"Accordingly, since they were imposed, the trade war tariffs have raised customs duties collections by around $233 billion through March 2024.
Of that $233 billion, just $89 billion was collected during the Trump administration. The remaining $144 billion has been collected during the Biden administration."
Lastly, the fact that Paul Krugman has a Nobel Peace Prize says all I need to know about the value of that award. And 23 is not some amazing number. There are hundreds if not thousands of economists in the USA. Not very hard to find 23 mostly, if not all professors (whom hopefully we can admit are predominantly liberal), to sign that.
You ignorance is astounding. You realize the Nobel is not just a "USA" prize. it's a World Wide award given to the "Best in the World" in their Fields. The fact you have the ignorance to assume that :" Not very hard to find 23 mostly, if not all professors (whom hopefully we can admit are predominantly liberal), to sign that". Seems people smarter then you threaten you so you attempt to tear them down, you're not very good at it. Had you read what I posted you would see it is across the political spectrum so your Liberal comment is ignorant as well.

LOL, gives you time to sober up, good for you.

I am well aware the Nobel Prize is world-wide. But I just assumed the 23 people that signed it were U.S. winners as it was for a U.S. economic plan. Definitely don't care what an economist from another country thinks is best for us. Of the 23 people that signed, what countries were they from? Which of the 23 are conservative? Just using a broad term like "across the political spectrum" doesn't make it true. You know damn well if you looked up these 23 people, at least 90% of them would be liberal. This is like getting Adam Kinzinger to sign a bill written by a democrat(s) and then stating the bill has bi-partisan support.
sdskinsfan2001 10-25-2024, 11:13 AM I'd much rather hear from small-business owners that actually own businesses.
https://sbiqpoll.jcnf.org/monthly-monitor/september-2024/
New September polling from the Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF) finds Donald Trump holds a 12-point lead ahead of Kamala Harris among small businesses nationwide. More specifically, 51 percent of respondents say Trump would do a better job helping small businesses while 39 percent say the same about Harris.
Thirty-five percent of small businesses surveyed self-describe themselves as Republicans, 30 percent as Democrats, and 33 percent as Independents.
Additionally, the Small Business Intelligence Quotient (SBIQ), an index tracking overall small business sentiment about the economy, dropped for the first time since last November. The indicator now stands at 56.4, with metrics measuring both current conditions and future expectations dipping in September.
Other key takeaways include:
- 84 percent of small businesses say crime has either increased or stayed the same, calling into question the media narrative that crime rates are falling.
- By a two-to-one margin, small businesses oppose government price controls.
- A majority of small businesses (58 percent) support extending the Tax Cuts and Job Act.
Note - The article does have some other polls included as well.

Your cherry picking is making your conversation very incoherent. You still have not read the link. The letter was signed it is across the political spectrum your Liberal comment is ignorant as well .Your entire post has no fact just hateful political agenda and assumption. Which by the way is right out of the MAGA playbook.

LOL you need to check out your link. None of it's true.

Again, just saying it's across the political spectrum, doesn't make it valid and can absolutely be misleading. If you have even 1 conservative among the 23, you can state it's across the political spectrum, but that does not mean there clearly isn't a biased slant overall on the people that signed it.
Again if 1 democrat signs a republican bill or visa-versa, you could technically say that is a bi-partisan bill, even if every single other congress-person of that party voted against it.
So using a broad generic term doesn't mean anything. Since you value those 23 people so much, seems like you would be interested in knowing their political beliefs. But you know I'm right so you won't care to look.
I'm not cherry-picking anything. That's what you do in all your post. You search the internet every day and bombard us with a bunch of posts just confirming what you already agreed with before you posted it. Anyone here can find links that support what they already believe.
But when anyone else posts something that you disagree with, somehow none of that is correct.
I posted a link to polls that were done in September. Are you saying that link says that their own polls they conducted are incorrect? Please highlight where that link says the poll of small-business owners I quoted is incorrect. Would be rather weird for a site to say their own poll is completely wrong.
And lastly, I know you do it to be grating and condescending but stop starting so many posts with lol. Grow up and stop acting like a school-girl.

You can have all 13 of those deep-state, pro-war, fake conservatives. We have traded all 13 to you for a 1 real-American, Tulsi Gabbard. Done and done.

Also, no one cares about John Kelly altogether. Just a bitter old cry-baby.

“And he’s a whack job, total whack job,” Trump said, adding: “It’s funny, when you fire people … when you fire people for doing a bad job, they get a little bit angry. … But he was a nutjob to start off with.”

Steven Cheung, Trump's campaign spokesperson, told Newsweek on Friday, "This is nothing more than disgruntled, former low-level employees who had remarkably undistinguished careers in government and are now trying to survive as Never Trump pundits fighting over cable news contracts."
One of Trump's biggest errors was his initial hirings. This guy should have never had the job in the 1st place. There are quite a few people he hired that should have never been hired.
