Sam Howell does not get enough respect here. Bunch of haters lol.

We should be clinging to hope for every young QB that comes here.

If we can add another couple solid OLineman in the draft, this offense is gonna bust on faces.

i hope he is TB12

but he has such a limited sample size of play it's hard to say "ok we are all set at QB1"

honestly his DAL game was decent but he threw it just 19 times and the INT he threw was just plain awful.

i say i am optimistically cautious about sam howell

He's better and has a higher floor.

I am leaning that way too but want to see it first LOL we've been fooled before

I don’t think SH has much to do with RR’s future. After Harris revamps the FO and has a real GM running the show, RR is history and the equation shifts to EB + SH = ? It’s all upside for EB until we see how he’s doing with his QB1 (SH or otherwise) into the ‘24 season.

This will be the first time in 25 years that we actually have a shot at developing a QB within a well-run system.

What exactly has Sam Howell done to warrant this respect you speak of? He's 11 for 19 with 2 TD (one rushing) and 1 INT. That's his NFL career. Lol

I think it's okay to "cling for hope" while also being skeptical about what he might become. He has a lot to prove. He could end up being the unquestioned starter here for a long time, or he could end up carrying a clipboard for most of his career (or somewhere in between). Like I've said before, there's not even a guarantee that he will start the season as the number one QB. He still has to beat out Brissett, which is not a given.

1-0 against Dallass. I can respect that.

Dan Snyder's preliminary deal to sell Commanders to Josh Harris reportedly now in NFL's hands:

If sale goes through, Josh Harris will own the minimum 30 percent of Commanders (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/04/18/if-sale-goes-through-josh-harris-will-own-the-minimum-30-percent-of-commanders/)

The process of Daniel Snyder selling the Washington Commanders is going to take some time, likely because the situation involves Daniel Snyder. If/when the team is sold to Josh Harris, the ownership breakdown has surfaced.

Via Mike Ozanian of Forbes.com (who reported in December that Snyder had multiple offers “well north” of $7 billion, so there’s that), Harris would own 30 percent, the minimum required by league rules.

The group of Harris and 17 limited partners also uses the maximum allowable debt under league rules, a whopping $1.1 billion.

Of the limited partners, billionaire Mitchell Rales will hold 12 percent. Magic Johnson would hold four percent.

At a sale price of $6 billion, Magic will be putting up $240 million. By way of comparison, Jerry Jones paid $150 million for all of the Cowboys in 1989.

This whole sale is gonna crash … I’ll be shocked if Snyder even sells the team within years .. now you got others involved with bids and somewhat big question marks about financials … I could very well see this sale being a total crap show of lawyers/lawsuits and Snyder sitting back giving everyone the finger … I don’t trust any of this to ge well ..
