We are so jaded by 27 quarterbacks failing that when a borderline top-5 leaves (even though he's clearly backup material at best) we lash out apparently.
Heinicke reached his ceiling, and his ceiling is fairly low in the grand scheme of things. But compared to the other 12+? qb's we've watched in the last 5 years he was probably top 2.

Forgot about Goff. Jimmy G was co AP offensive player of the year that season though so he was playing at an elite level for that season

Danny Johnson got a 1.75 million dollar signing bonus. Good for him!! He's a great role model for all the UDFA type guys.
