I still think Jackson lands here.

Which sucks.

I honestly don't see it. I think they are set with Howell / Brissett

Ron “Lamar is a tremendous talent but we have not looked into the situation “

When asked about Brissett “we will play the QB that gives us a chance to win”

They have been approaching FA with the aim of being able to pick BPA in the draft, so who knows. If Robinson is as good as some say it would be difficult to argue that he isn't the BPA available at 16, though if he slips that far there may be plenty of teams wanting to trade up.

Absolutely not. BUT I got no problem if EB sees someone in the draft outside of the first round he wants.

My best guess at 16 is CB, Tackle or TE in that order

Gotta go oline or cb in the first. If one of the big tackles is there take em. Id even go with Torrence in the second if he is there. Than take the best corner in the third.

The good thing is, there are enough areas that need attention, so there should be someone on the board at 16 who can come in and contribute immediately at a position of need.

My preference is to take the best O-lineman or CB at 16. However, if Michael Mayer (TE) is there I wouldn't be opposed to taking him. That is assuming EB thinks the TE group needs attention, which I'm not sure he does. We have some promising young TEs, and LT could come back strong...

A starting T and a starting CB can both likely be had on day 2, which would make drafting a TE in the 1st round - not the end of the world.

unless you think the RB is the next LT/AP or someone like Reggie Bush (the best WR in his class), mid-first on an RB is probably not going to be considered a good pick 10 years down the road. All the DPI stuff over the years has really lowered their value.

I think they are genuinely not interested in Jackson.

I agree. Besides the money factor, LJ is a modern style QB and Ron is a dinosaur working to implementing an 80s style run first offense.
