skinsfaninok 02-02-2023, 10:06 AM At the end of the day nothing matters until Dan is gone SunnySide 02-02-2023, 11:13 AM Anthony Lynn is the front runner for the OC Position per ESPNs Josina Anderson Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Lynn then joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as the running backs coach (2003–2004). He left Jacksonville after being switched to special teams coach following a coaching staff shakeup by head coach Jack Del Rio in 2005.[3] On September 16, 2016, Lynn was promoted to assistant head coach and offensive coordinator of the Bills when Greg Roman was fired.[8][9] When asked what he wants his offensive identity to be, Lynn responded, "I want to play smart, physical football. I want to be explosive down the field... We're going to play a little bit faster and see if we can put a little pressure on the defense. Just execute."[10] Lynn made his debut as offensive coordinator against the Arizona Cardinals, pulling out a 33–18 win.[11] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Lynn Fits the running first approach skinsfaninok 02-02-2023, 11:27 AM Lynn then joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as the running backs coach (2003–2004). Yep, run first and won't take many deep shots... Chico23231 02-02-2023, 12:36 PM Will also be interesting who he picks as his QB1 Jimmy G? I hope not skinsfaninok 02-02-2023, 12:48 PM Jimmy G? I hope not As a QB2? Sure SunnySide 02-02-2023, 12:56 PM Will also be interesting who he picks as his QB1 Itd be interesting if he even wants the job .. but I guess he is interviewing If I was a somewhat young coach I wouldnt want the job. A 1 year placeholder job that you will probably be fired from next year when RR is not retained ... on a team with probably the lowest ranked QB room in the league .. with an aging OL Chico23231 02-02-2023, 12:56 PM As a QB2? Sure QB2 for sure, I’d be ok with that. EdmundDorf 02-02-2023, 12:56 PM That of course could be the other factor in this. If Ron and co actually want Jimmy G then they may see hiring Lynne as the way to get him to come here. I wasn't all that bothered about having Lynne as OC up until this point but this makes me think I want them to avoid him just on the off chance that Jimmy G follows |
