The refs sucked today and have for years, these new breed of refs are terrible.

The referees were absolutely in the Giants pocket. And that fat fuck Dabol still cried like someone stole his tall stack of pancakes.

Straight drop backs? Sure, you can do it periodically, as long as you're mixing in roll outs, boots/waggles, and RPO.

Turner doesn't have the insight to install those things and neither an offense which resembles a WCO (which I have pondered to myself several days ago).

My point was on 3rd down and 7 you can't do that stuff.

What gets me is Taylor has all the intangibles you can’t “teach”. The overthrows, ball sailing should be something he can fix … I’m not sure why it can’t be corrected.

He is who he is at this point. He just can't drive the ball. He is especially bad at throwing over the middle.

I don’t think there is A OC on earth that could get anymore out of TH then we are

TH is just not a starting caliber nfl qb ; plain and simple

Only thing that make him better is a growth spurt , I am guessing he is done with puberty at this point

I agree with this. Turner has done a solid job of maximizing what TH does well with what was already in the confines of the playbook. Most teams have a bqack up that fits the mold of their starter, we don't. Our playbook has basically been set up for QBs like Fitzpatrick and Wentz not a mobile QB. You can't ask 10 other guys to change the months of studying the playbook to hastily learn a new playbook to fit the needs of a mediocre QB.

I feel like the offense is better from the goal line to the redzone, but once we get inside the redzone it really just isn't very pretty.

Because TH doesn't have the arm to get a fastball into a tight window. We probably have a ton of goal to go plays we can't run with him.

And i agree with designed runs for him. Not so much RPO as I think he's no experience running it, but designed runs like a QB draw would help give pass rusher pause.

Thing is Turner rarely does some of those things and doesn't do the others at all it seems.

I really hope BSJ is back after the bye. Not only was Holmes badly exposed in the secondary, but we also missed his tackling. St. Juste has become a good and willing tackler, and not having him yesterday probably allowed for some of the Giants' runs to extend. Having Chase will be helpful too, but I actually think BSJ is more impactful for our D at the moment, especially given that the D line is playing so well.

Holmes was getting exposed yesterday, he ain't ready for the big time yet.
