Just got this pic of the Sean Taylor installation, which has been changed.
The facemask is finally taped.
The jersey, which was Nike, is now Reebok.
The socks are different and the ankles are taped too.
Wish the team got this right the first time. But good fixes regardless

^^ At least they are willing to fix mistakes these days, still don't know why it's so hard for them to get the little things right the first time around.

Definitely a drastic improvement.
Why didn't they use an actual mannequin instead of just those wired thing-ma-bobs?
Commanders take down Sean Taylor memorial after criticism, working on replacement statue (https://sports.yahoo.com/commanders-take-down-sean-taylor-memorial-after-criticism-working-on-replacement-statue-205254966.html)
Still hard to believe this was botched so badly, it should have been an easy slam dunk. Good on new ownership for recognizing the messes that need to be cleaned up.

Dan Snyder probably allocated about $200.00 for the construction of that disrespectful abomination. He must have needed the money for his yacht. Thank God we're rid of Snyder forever!

Peters is gutting the team of Rivera picks and Harris is improving every thing that has Snyder stench on it. This franchise is going to look brand new in a year or 2.

Am I the only one that doesn't understand why Sean Taylor is getting a statue? For what? Getting murdered? It was an absolute crime what happened to the guy and was taken way too soon. Call me an asshole, but I simply don't understand the fan-hood worship of ST. He made 1 pro-bowl and no all-pro prior to his death.

Quite arguably the most polarizing athlete and defensive player the team has had in the past.... who knows how long. Feared across the league, faced and basically owned some of the most highly touted WRs of a certain generation... the Fandom and hype was real. His potential and future was real. I forget if it was ryan clark or Portis but since he came into the league... you could tell he was the best athlete on the field on GameDay. He was a generational talent that got cut short but his play and his personality not only captivated but stole the hearts of fans just like myself. In just a very short period of time on the field he legit is top 5 favorite players since I started watching this team as a young child in 1990. Prpbably my favorite player of all time. The admiration of his coaches amd his teammates speaks volumes. There's emotions as raw as his talent involved in this situation. It's a lot to explain but... I'm happy he's getting a proper statue.
Doesn't make you an asshole for having an opinion but hopefully this sheds some light and gives some insight into the why behind the what.

No, you're not the only one.
While his death was a tragedy, he was hugely overrated as a player IMHO.
Pretty sure he only went to the pro bowl because someone else dropped out.
Cue the abuse. :(
I have no problem with anyone questioning why he's getting a statue or why his number was retired before the likes of Riggins, Monk, Green, etc.
As usual the prior regime did things ass backwards.
