Naming of Goddell and NFL as defendants subject to discovery is great. Closer that fire gets to their doorstep, the better.
I could see this being dismissed before it gets off the ground .. lack of jurisdiction, lack of standing, lack of articuable claim, failure to state claim upon which relief could be afforded ...

It's starting to get where there is no other recourse but to sell. Either through force or just finally accepting you're a shithead and no one likes you. I don't know how that man sleeps at night.

Ideally, the sale goes thru by March and the new owner hires a real GM.
As much as Rivera frustrates the hell out of me sometimes, I still think he should get 1 more year to see how he can do with the fog of Snyder's shit out of the air and not having any GM roles.
Yeah it is just that he had a majority of losing seasons in Carolina and without Superman he probably would have been fired well before he was. Yes there is something to be said for blocking things out, but his time management, personnel decisions, and inability to ever be prepared for the start of a game really have nothing to do with dick head. Ill take a new HC if someone appealing comes along.

I wouldn't lose sleep if he was replaced. But I'd be OK with him getting 1 more year. Hopefully the new-car smell can wear off on the coaches.

Dan Snyder's voice (lies to misinform potential customers for financial gain) reverberated through the air of Washington DC and were heard by ears of DC residents.
^^ Im being facetious but also ... that is my honest understanding from the announcement
What stops someone from California or the prime minister of Malaysia for suing .. if they heard his voice on tv in California or in Malaysia?

Goddell and the NFL being parties is the most interesting part of it.
Really curious about a consumer protection theory of the case.
I haven't seen any reports with any specifics in the complaint, other than a general statement about "lies."
Hopefully, more detailed reporting will come out in the next few days.
