Dan Snyder Hires Bank Of America To Potentially Sell Washington Commanders

I am not going to put anything beyond Dan’s pettiness.

So Matthew McConaughey apparently wants in on the Bezos/Jay-Z group. Fine by me. I like the idea of a guy with a Texas drawl trolling the Cowboys in an ownership role.

I had read an article somewhere that said that Snyder won't sell to Bezos because he hates the WaPo. Someone might tell him that if he thinks he's hated now, it's nothing compared to the reaction that will arise if his pettiness gets in the way of a sale.

If a non-Bezos bid was $7B and Bezos bid $7.25B, then maybe Dan would take the lower offer.

But if Bezos outbids by a significant percentage I don't think he'd turn it down. Not rational. Look back at all of Dan's behavior, he often took actions he didn't want to in the name of preserving the revenue stream. Changed the name to WFT to keep sponsorships.

If he's willing to change the name away from his beloved Redskins, he's willing to sell to Bezos.

It's hard to believe we've progressed so much in terms of Snyder exploring the option of selling the team - only to be reminded like this that there is so much organizational rot still to clean up. Who the fuck authorized this statement?
