Question. When the new owner comes in, and obviously that may take some months and we don't know who it will be, but, does Ron and the front office get another year to show their stuff or is there an immediate cleanout of FO and coaching staff to remove the Snyder stench. Do they slash the roster to maximise draft picks and cap space for a new regime. Does the new owner sell the farm to get a name QB in the building.
All great questions and nobody knows. The answers will largely depend on how we close out the season. I highly doubt any of the guys interested in bidding have given any thought yet to how they’ll handle football leadership.
They will probably need to see how the team fares down the stretch before making any decisions, just like the rest of us.
I think the one thing you can count on is the new owner will make level headed decisions and hire the best football leaders possible and get out of the way.

I would be surprised if, presuming this is finalised in the off season, any prospective owner hasn't at least got a managerial staff lined up. I would bet every managerial position between owner level and HC would be under immediate threat, and once appointed, a now GM would talk to the HC and decide. Be surprised if there wasn't a complete clear out with the new owner looking at bringing in someone young and hungry. Wouldn't surprise me if they lured someone like Sean Payton out of retirement.

New ownership means a house cleaning. That's just how it goes in any kind of business. I would expect almost everyone to be gone on the football and business side.

Jeff Bezos, Jay-Z plan to make bid on Washington Commanders
https://nypost.com/2022/11/05/jeff-bezos-jay-z-plan-to-make-bid-on-washington-commanders/I think this has a great chance to go down. No one will be able to outbid Bezos and he's already a DC guy so it makes too much sense. Curious to know how the other owners and rest of the league would feel about this. Radical difference from Snyder it would be.

Sources say that Snyder is selling it all, and the hope is that the transaction is completed by March when the new league year begins.
Guys I think this is finally happening!!!

So Matthew McConaughey apparently wants in on the Bezos/Jay-Z group. Fine by me. I like the idea of a guy with a Texas drawl trolling the Cowboys in an ownership role.
I had read an article somewhere that said that Snyder won't sell to Bezos because he hates the WaPo. Someone might tell him that if he thinks he's hated now, it's nothing compared to the reaction that will arise if his pettiness gets in the way of a sale.
Channel your inner Steve Miller -- take the money and run.

I think that chatter about Snyder not wanting to sell to Bezos is just clickbait. Even Dan Snyder is not so petty as to not take 7 BILLION dollars. No way, it's just not realistic.
