MTK 11-06-2023, 11:19 AM @John_Keim In the last five games, Sam Howell has thrown for 1,510 yards -- most in the NFL. He also has thrown for 10 TDs during this time, tied for most. EdmundDorf 11-06-2023, 12:31 PM One other thing to like about Sam, and I don't want to jinx him, is if you consider how many times he has been sacked and his number off fumbles is so low. punch it in 11-06-2023, 05:23 PM Second in the league in yards. Not too shabby. Chico23231 11-06-2023, 06:38 PM Sam is all dog HTTR 11-06-2023, 07:07 PM Sam’s HC didn’t do him any favors with clock management around the int sequence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Chief X_Phackter 11-06-2023, 08:03 PM Sam can call timeouts too. That INT was terrible and 100% on him. Good thing is there's not much else he did wrong, and he didn't dwell on it...just came back and played really well. AnonEmouse 11-06-2023, 08:04 PM Sam’s HC didn’t do him any favors with clock management around the int sequence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, and with more experience he'll learn that he can and should burn a timeout himself in those situations in future. Just tell the coach he didn't like what he saw from the D and take any fallout on the chin. sdskinsfan2001 11-06-2023, 08:31 PM Sam can call timeouts too. That INT was terrible and 100% on him. Good thing is there's not much else he did wrong, and he didn't dwell on it...just came back and played really well. He's definitely a mentally tough kid. And he consistently assumes no less than half the blame, even if we all know it's often not like that with our line for most of the season. Guys like playing with him. And I bet that's a huge part of it. Very impressive for a 2nd year player. It even rubs off on the defense: See J.A. talking about Howell. His toughness comes from having played as a LB and S in HS. |
