EB is a fucking moron. he actually played 6 snaps more than I thought skinsfan69 10-30-2023, 12:55 PM I saw the 4th down play u guys were talking about.. That was FUCKING AWFUL PLaycalling! 4th & 1 and u go spread????? Its like hes saying fuck u Ron and JDR It's all on Ron. He should have got in his ear and told him to run the ball or play action. mredskins 10-30-2023, 02:41 PM When it comes to Sam Howell #nottheproblem he didn't have a great 4QT , arguably the most important quarter While the Commanders put up a brave fight and led 24-17 in the fourth quarter, the Eagles were simply too much. Jalen Hurts threw three second-half touchdown passes, and while Washington kept Sam Howell clean for most of the day, the second-year quarterback had a dismal fourth quarter. He missed an open Terry McLaurin on back-to-back throws to end one drive, tossed an interception to hand the Eagles a short field on another and was strip-sacked by Haason Reddick on fourth down to put the game out of reach. I’m sorry, terrry needs to make one of those catches yesterday just like Dotson needed to make that catch last week. The sack by Reddick was 1000% on Wylie as well. He wasn’t perfect, but Howell had a great game. Overal, the protection was good too, there is a correlation there nonniey 10-30-2023, 04:22 PM Sam was really impressive yesterday, really impressive. EB called a good game too. I'd love to see a little more run/pass balance but EB just doesn't seem to care much about running. That loss was clearly on the defense. The loss was not clearly on the defense - it was on the coaches and 100% on the coaches. The coaching staff gifted the Eagles two TDs. The Redskins almost certainly would have gone into halftime ahead 17-3 if the coaches didn't call or allow (Ron) the worst play call in the NFL this season. And if Ron would have challenged (any other coach would have in that situation) that 4th down pass by the Eagles that is another TD taken away from the bad guys. Bottom line is 38 points on the board, can't win a lot of games like that. The defense has been a massive flop all year. sdskinsfan2001 10-30-2023, 04:27 PM Bottom line is 38 points on the board, can't win a lot of games like that. Defense was supposed to be the strength of the team, it clearly is not. We don't really have a strength. mredskins 10-30-2023, 04:28 PM I’m sorry, terrry needs to make one of those catches yesterday just like Dotson needed to make that catch last week. Probably a mix of overrated players and an overrated DC Either way, it's a seriously underperforming unit for whatever reason |
