EB doesn't bother me too much when looking at all the games, overall, the offense is probably over performing given how horrendous the OL is (complete lack of talent there which I primarily blame Ron for). Additionally, it is refreshing to see in game adjustments again after so many years.

Agreed, EB would be able to run a full offense with Brissett at QB.
Instead we have to do high school plays for Howell.
The bears had 3 dbs out and the worst secondary in the nfl.

watched every single brissett browns game last year. No thanks, no shot, i wish you the best with your opinion and train of thought

the BROWNS org... the BROWNS.... let him walk, watson or no watson he has trouble staying healthy, too.... the BROWNS ..... fans were ESTATIC that brissett was gone. I wouldn't blame any of it on Howell. He didn't miss gap assignments, miss tackles or blow coverages.

He takes some blame. Definitely didn't lead receivers well and held on to the ball too long last night.

I think Howell is doing as well as could be expected. It was his 6th game, and he plays for one of the worst teams in the NFL, with one of the worst OL's in the NFL. He has room for improvement, for sure, in-terms of getting rid of the ball and anticipating routes being opened, but I think that's to be expected at this point in his career.
