Yeah the beat writers complain all the time how they never mind if there's like a trade in the middle of the week and they have to drop everything to cover it. What they get sick of is shit like news breaking on a Friday at 4pm that Dan Snyder will let Tanya handle day to day operations for the foreseeable future and then they have to drop everything and be investigative reporters instead of sports journalists.

They just want to write about football, just like we just want to read about football.

You know this team doesn't wait till 4 pm on a Friday to bring the drama! It's 24/7. Definitely exhausting
