I’m no longer sure I can continue to root for a team he owns. Im fighting the thought of abandoning ship but that fight is becoming pointless. It isn’t like I can overlook him due to winning. I've been trying to ignore him and focus on the on field part of the organization for years. That's hard to do when we're losing. I believe that it all starts at the top for any organization. If the owner lacks good personal and leadership qualities, then his entire organization will reflect that. I suspended that belief when it came to the football team out of my desperation to find some way to enjoy following the team I grew up with despite my distaste for the team's owner. I should have known it wouldn't work because shit rolls downhill. The shit coming from the top is continuous and unstoppable and it will inevitably sap the morale and accordingly the performance of nearly every employee - on or off the field.
