Manders isn't something I'd use in conversation if I was out, like at a bar, watching the game.

I mainly just use it here. I'll try to mix Coms in too. Maybe Coms if it's something I like and Manders if it's something I don't.

I still catch myself doing it in conversation and I've decided I'm not going to try to stop myself.

Interesting with all the afternoon preseason games this year, anybody know what the reasoning is?

I still can't bring myself to say that shitty name. I just can't. It's Washington or nothing.

And don't get me started on the fight song. Just get rid of it since you can't say Redskins. It is just brutal, forced and sad.

While I don't think Commanders is shitty necessarily, I am pretty much sticking to Washington too. Maybe it will grow on me, but for now it's Washington or 'Skins.

And yes, just scrap the fight song. That should have been part of the rebrand.

The nickname to the real name is a bit of a head scratcher to me … if you are gonna reduce every team name to its simplest form then just pick a simple name to begin with .. example the San Francisco 49ers are called the 9ers?? Cowboys /the Boys? What the hell is a Vike? , what is the Carolina panthers nickname ?? What is the Texans ? I call the Washington Commanders the commanders.. we don’t need some silly ass abbreviation ..
