It’s concerning our Free Agent Guard Turner hasn’t played yet..but they haven’t put him on PUP yet EdmundDorf 08-25-2022, 09:14 AM Yeah I saw that too, I assume he is just a camp body for last preseason game so they don't need to risk our guards getting injured. Assume he will come in after Paul, Montiero and Charles at the back end of the game. I thought it was interesting that they started Montiero last week ahead of Paul when they needed to protect Wentz. We don't know how much Flowers is asking but I don't believe he is asking for a lot and I wouldn't mind giving him a few extra millions, just to have a better player in the guard position. That's not a crazy thought at all. I was in favor of keeping him in the first place. But the decision too not give him those extra millions was made back when they signed Andrew Norwell. He's sidelined right now but it doesn't seem to be anything too serious, so I don't see why they would change their minds now. EDIT: apparently both Norwell, and Schweitzer are back at practice. And Turner is working through his quad injury. Chief X_Phackter 08-25-2022, 10:34 AM I haven't heard anything alarming about the O-line injuries. They seem minor, and there are still a couple weeks before game 1 for those guys to get healthy. KI Skins Fan 08-25-2022, 11:21 AM The Jags are still unsettled at LG (although they do have a great RG) so it's not necessarily a good thing that they picked up Wes Martin. Leno - Lucas - Charles Norwell - Schweitzer - Charles Roullier - Larsen - Schweitzer Turner - Schweitzer - Charles Cosmi - Lucas - Charles Thats 8 right there to start season, 9 once Larsen comes off PUP. Love Lucas and Schweitzers swing abilities. Such good low key signings. | |
