Given the fuckery that's been happening in the Snyder era, why include any current/active players. I guaranteed that Trent and Kirk don't give two shits about this team.

And yeah, the whole roll out has been ridiculous. Like, who TF is in charge of marketing in this team.

I want to like Jason Wright so bad, but damn.

I’d like to be the fly on wall when someone actually presented the case against putting Trent on the ballot when getting this together for the org. It’s either someone who doesn’t know shit about football or simply a petty asshole. I’m thinking it’s the latter

Kevin Sheehan mentioned this the other day on his podcast, the fact that we even know who Jason Wright is is strange. If you asked me who runs the business side of the Mets I'd have no clue. But this is the setup Snyder goes with, he likes to push others into the spotlight so they can take the heat for him.

Wright needs someone to consult with who fully understands and appreciates this franchise's history to avoid these embarrassing gaffes like the years on the crest and now with this 90th anniversary stuff. Why he doesn't seek someone out like that is beyond me.

I just don't understand why you would want to honor active players in other teams. To me it doesn't make sense, especially how you have two players you are honoring who left the team in bad terms.

They should hire Rick Snider as a consultant, he is a living archive of DC sports history.

Or Dee Snider. Because we’re not going to take it anymore.

Snyder allegedly had nothing to do with it, but if the people putting together the list are thinking what would Snyder want to see, that's still a big problem

I don't believe for one second that anyone in the organization other than Snyder makes any decisions. The idea that Snyder's wife has been running things while he "steps away" from the business is laughable.

Much as I hate Snyder and would love to be able to blame him for everything, many of the cockups of the last two years have been mid level lack of attention by, what feels like at least, marketing people who don't know anything about football or the history of the club. There are some seriously high salaries paid to people who should be taking care of these details before it reaches Dans desk if it even does. I can't believe it was Dan who got his crayons out to design the crest, or that Dan insisted on doing the Sean Taylor presentation in front of some portable toilets. I assume Dan pays people to maintain the stadium and it is not him going around fedex with a wrench and duct tape on a Sunday morning to secure railings and fix plumbing issues.

Of course he is hiring these idiots and should be holding them accountable but I suppose the only requirement in working for Dan is to kiss his ass and don't squeel to the press/cops/congress.

Ok rant over, I can go back to not thinking about the little turd
