I'm just back in town but am hearing a couple Redskins players complained about workouts?

Go home! Get off the Team you woose!

Do we know names?

Did this cost us practice time to come?

Grrrr!!!!!

No, I think someone from the NFLPA watched the redskins.com videos on some of the drills and found the redskins to have broken the rules. Minor stuff.
I do not know if any player complained.
The Giants got hit for this last year.

I think the Skins players were OK with them. Samuals, Thrash, Brown, and Thomas all said that they thought they were all right. Gotta love the unions defending the richest guys from working more than 6 months a year!!!

No one on the skins complained. Our legue reps all thought it was totally fine. Some weasle at the players association (I don't even know if it was a player, a former player, or just some pencil-pushing geek) saw a video on skins.com and complained. F*** that.

From skins.com:

The ruling came after an employee of the NFLPA viewed video from Redskins.com and notified the league of their concern that the line work was too physical. League officials contacted the team and required officials to forward video of relative portions of practice for review.

Here's a link to the skins statement on skins.com:BS (http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=7485)

Just an idea. We should check out other teams websites and send in complaints about photos, vids, etc. Then the Union should demand the film that the teams have (all of them keep film) and review it, just like they did to the skins. As for the workouts being to hard, I saw the video they're talking about. The contact lasts like 2 seconds, and that's it--I bet ever team in the league runs at least one drill that has contact like this. IT'S FOOTBALL!!!! GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK!!!

You should know from Week 3 of the 2004 season that the league rules don't apply to the Cowboys. :banghead:

It'll be OK. I know three days makes a difference, but the way the team has been this year, I would say they would get together "on their own time".
