I'd argue it wasn't just a single victim accident, unless we are just assuming the dump truck driver isn't traumatized at all
We didn't need the 9/11 call but it's public info
It's inevitable we're going to hear about the toxicology report too
The dump truck driver is 100% a victim. I work with railroad safety and when locomotive engineers are involved in striking pedestrians who are trespassing on the track its very traumatizing for them. Also any witnesses to the accident can be traumatized and need counselling. People don't live in vacuums and accidents never result in a single victim.

In school zones and parking lots, great advice.

Single victim accident with no 3rd parties effected ... put me in the camp that just wants to respect the grieving families privacy.
Saying we need to know Haskins toxicology so we can sit down with our kids to pass on lessons learned so no pedestrian will ever be killed again .. blah blah blah.
Public doesnt need to know his toxicology report. Its a private matter.
I'm saying the toxicology report is only one piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately for the family its not a private matter. Once the police investigation began everything is on the table and part of the public record. Its called transparency.

Well that's sum booshit. If he was drunk or high, that means he was driving drunk on a public highway. Because you can't get your car stranded on the side of the road and come up with a toxicology result without having driven it there under the influence. Ergo, in the event of such a toxicology report, he broke the law.
And all police reports are public information. Toxicology report is part and parcel to it.
I don’t understand why people want to give Haskins a pass here. If people wanted to constantly prop this dude up as some sort of role model, then we need some honesty. We are all kinda willfully ignoring past mistakes he made here, if there is a pattern then it needs to be called out.
I need the full story of Haskins that morning, cause this shit ain’t adding up.
Both things can be true, we can feel awful about a young man needlessly losing his life, and we can also question the decisions that led up to it.

Of course both can be true.
But what exactly is the point of that part of it?
All this shit is cute but let's get back to the real world.
A dump truck driver has to file an insurance claim and possibly submit his own toxicology report to his employer.
A second car also has to file an insurance claim after hitting Haskins ricocheting body.
Toxicology reports are important for those that are involved, except for the stripper asleep in Haskins car.

Lol…She just need to be tested for STDs and the ability to balance a quarter on her ass.
I like when these guys get together for a “team activity/workout” and they tell their significant other we gotta fly to South Beach to do it.
Of course both can be true.

That's like asking what's the point of this site
It's what we do
