It's just weird how he is judged. Most media members are spineless, so once a narrative gets drawn, lots of people just fall in line.
He was No. 9 overall in QBR last year. Oh the horror of having him be the starting QB for X team in 2022. The horror!!!
Fuck Snyder and fuck our team (our team hasn't earned respect), it's flat out disrespectful to the man himself.
Media loves their narratives. Just an excuse to be lazy imo.

The media is not only ignoring recency bias, but also the fact that an NFL owner put in a full blown smear PR campaign against Wentz that EVERYONE is buying into.
I'm not going to drink the Kool-Aid and say that Wentz is going to be this great elite QB and whatnot. But what drives me crazy about all of this lazy journalism is that I ask myself: did these MF'ers see the QB play this team has had in the past couple of years? Any of them catch the gazillion wounded ducks that Heineke threw last year? Wentz may end up being an average QB, but that's a huge upgrade over the terrible QBs we've had in this team.

It's the red hair. In all seriousness I really don't see how this isn't a marked improvement in QB play from last year.
Irsay's smear campaign worked apparently

If Wentz was the QB for the Eagles again, I bet you the media would say they are still the favorites in the east

FYI, Heineke had a better YPA than Wentz last year.

69, I’m gonna get you a Wentz jersey after he leads us to the playoffs this year.

Yet he still managed 27 TDs and 7 INTs. Imagine how much better he will be now that he has an O-line that can pass-block, and some legit weapons besides J Taylor.

Actually they were the same at 6.9
Both better than Josh Allen so I guess we're set

In 8 starts Wentz didn't break 200 yards. In one start against NE he had 57 yards passing...lol.
