I'm curious to see what your opinion on this article (https://catcrave.com/2022/02/24/carolina-panthers-draft-examining-narratives-sam-howell/) is? This article discussed the idea of comparing Howell with Mayfield.

All three of these guys, and Willis, are rolls of the dice.

Pickett maybe a little bit more likely to at least turn into a passable starter, and Willis a bit more likely to boom or bust. But all are a roll of the dice.

I wouldn't be against going for one, but I'd probably sign a vet too. If I'm resigned to dice-rolls, I'd rather have a couple cracks at it. Trubisky or Mariota carry about as much a chance of hitting as these guys do. I'll take one from column A and one from column B.

But I'd much rather trade a butt ton for Wilson or Watson, if I can.

I can't get real excited about any of these guys. This coming year, neither would be an upgrade to what we have now. Might as well roll with TH <-----which I am not advocating for.
