If the Giants can be called G-Men why can't the Commanders be called C-Men?

Lol. The C-Men.

C-Men just got in that ass (when we actually win)!!

Me too. Based on all I've read about the C-Men draft, I feel that it can be narrowed down to this: They want a Top 10 quality playmaker with Pro Bowl potential at #11. So, in this draft, I don't think the C-Men will draft any Lineman, QB, RB, LB, or TE at #11. If hybrid S/LB Hamilton should fall out of the Top 10, I think he's the player they want most and they will take him. If he doesn't fall, then I think only these players would be in consideration at #11: WR London, WR Wilson, CB Gardner, and CB Stingley. If none of these players is available, I think the C-Men will trade down, which would also be beneficial because they could make good use of more draft picks.

I am pretty much in agreement with you.

Honestly I think it would be pretty miraculous to see Hamilton fall to us at 11. He's widely thought of as top 5, and some have him as the #1 prospect, but you never know.

Either way, here are my top 3 scenarios for the first round.

1. Hamilton falls to 11, and he's the pick.
2. Hamilton does not fall to 11, and another team blows them away with a trade offer.
3. Hamilton does not fall to 11, no good trade offers, and they select London or Stingley.

That being said, I wouldn't hate it if they took an offensive lineman...Neal, Okwonu, Cross.

The good thing about being in their position, is there will almost certainly be a player there at 11 who should have been drafted in the top 10, and who can help them out immediately.

I meant to say that I think any one of Hamilton, London, Wilson, Gardner or Stingley are outstanding enough for the WFT to take at #11. There aren't any other players that I would expect them to take at #11.

Nevertheless, there would be many other players who could possibly start right away for WFT available in the late 1st round or the 2nd round. Therefore, they might well trade down and I don't think they'd need to be blown away by a trade offer for #11 as long as they receive a fair return in draft picks.

This synopsis is from Jim Nagy who runs the Senior Bowl and draft enthusiast. I usually see people who really know football reference him:

2022 DRAFT THOUGHTS

*QB: No slam dunk franchise guys but at least a couple winning starters.

*TE: A few solid starters with surplus of productive No. 2’s.

*WR: Over-graded IMO. Too many pushed into first round mocks. Some good high traits options on Day 2.

RB: Starter-level players will fall well into Day 3 like last year.

OL: Strong at OT/OG throughout draft. Few quality true OC.

DT: Better than last year (not saying much) but still thin.

EDGE: Plenty pass rush talent available. Rotational/sub help into early Day 3.

LB: Deeper than most years. Expect run on Day 2.

DS: Juniors added quality up top. Thin on starter talent. Teams must take one early to fill immediate need.

CB: Average class. Some fool’s gold in early-round mocks. A few cool traits guys that will go early Day 3.
