Prove me wrong Dan.
New thread worthy. If I'm wrong I'll eat all the crow and then some. Also will be the greatest deep-fake in name reveal history.

So how come jeep that has a Commander vehicle is not complaining about the name being taken already or Biden and his dog?

Because it isn’t a trademark infringement

I know the Biden is a moot point, just a dog name and is a joke, but what about Jeep? Isn’t a vehicle name trademarked like a teams name?

It is but nobody is gonna confuse a vehicle with a football team. So it's not really infringing on Jeep's territory.

nobody is gonna confuse a NFL team with a college team, or with an NBA team in regards to Timber Wolves.
it's a smoke screen and F You to the vast majority of the remaining fans. Minus MTK and Summo

I think trademark law disagrees with you there.

I think trademark law disagrees with you there.I don't think that's a fact.
Chattanooga has used it for years while working thru the legal stuff. C'est la vie.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220202/8823362a1d73cf82d2759ce7e8a42318.jpg

I think an NFL franchise had the mean to win the battle a soccer team was willing to fight (https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2020/jul/21/wolves-not-just-for-teams-taking/), don't you? And if the trademark issues really scared them away, was Washington Wolves really that hard to get? Would have pleased a lot of people and calmed those who found Redwolves crindgeworthy.
Anyway, moot point by now. Just think it's fair to say this whole 2 years fan engaging process was a scam if they ignore the overwhelmingly fan favorite option and pick something absolutely NOBODY was talking about before it became the most likely option.
Heck, I ain't jumping ship, so I'll get used to it. Just surprised to see so many people defending them on this choice which contradicts everything they've been telling us for 2 years.
