Honestly the W and the jerseys are pretty cool. I love the black aspect to it. It’s not the Redskins anymore, time for a new brand. If you have stuck through all the bullshit we have over 25 years, you can adjust to this.

This feels like being seperated for the past few years and today is where the judge makes the divorce final. I feel so numb towards this team.

Commanders is just so fucking bad.

I guess something is wrong with me .. but I like Commanders.. but what I will like more is winning ..I refer to them as Washington or Skins , the nickname is no biggie .. I blame the culture for all this crap anyways .. there are some probably out there now trying to figure out how commanders is offensive and they will protest that .. the biggest gripe I have with this whole ordeal is it could have been done is 90 days vs 2 years ..

The Sports Junkies have photos of the uniforms on their Facebook page. If they are for real all I can say is what a disappointment. But I guess I didn't expect anything different.

Exactly. Liking Commanders or not is completely subjective, so no point in arguing that.
But taking 2 years to choose a generic name nobody was talking about before it became the most likely option, vs some of the obvious fans favorite, after talking up this freakin scam of a renaming process which was supposedly all about fans input, that's un-explicable, and disrespectful to us.

I think an NFL franchise had the mean to win the battle a soccer team was willing to fight (https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2020/jul/21/wolves-not-just-for-teams-taking/), don't you? And if the trademark issues really scared them away, was Washington Wolves really that hard to get? Would have pleased a lot of people and calmed those who found Redwolves crindgeworthy.

Anyway, moot point by now. Just think it's fair to say this whole 2 years fan engaging process was a scam if they ignore the overwhelmingly fan favorite option and pick something absolutely NOBODY was talking about before it became the most likely option.

Heck, I ain't jumping ship, so I'll get used to it. Just surprised to see so many people defending them on this choice which contradicts everything they've been telling us for 2 years.

I was just referring to the actual idea of infringement not whether it can be contested. Of course any thing is possible click here (https://www.npr.org/2022/01/28/1076306282/court-rules-gruyere-too-generic-and-u-s-companies-can-make-the-cheese)

Too low of a blow?! :)
