My new car is getting up there in miles (30,000) and I was wondering if I SHOULD and how often I should get my transmission flushed. I had an Acura Integra and got it flushed at 100k and the car ran like it was brand new. Anyone know of any facts for how often I should do this OR if I should do it at all? I've heard from SOME people that it's just a way for companies to make money off of you... cpayne5 06-10-2005, 08:55 AM Check your owner's manual, it should tell you how often to change it in there. Always trust the manufacturer's service recommendations. I usually do my own work, but go to the dealer to buy the fluids (except motor oil) that they recommend for the car.
