Is that 13 based on next years estimated cap? They are good but have too many holes to be considered a SB contender. Case in point GB is in just as bad as cap took the number 1 seed and all that despite not having a single starter play on oline for the entire season. Cowboys probably will win division again just because none of the other three teams have an even marginally adequate QB. If we end up improving the QB position we will be competitive with Dallas and should win division or at least compete for it.

Based on 208 million…I use overthecap.com

The NFL's salary cap for 2022 will rise to $208.2 million, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported, expanding by $25.7 million compared to this season. That is the maximum amount agreed upon by the NFL and NFL Players Association in May

They will restructure Dak and other big contracts, kick the can down the road as usual. Still they are going to be up against the cap each year. There are a couple of other key defensive guys (K.Neal and the FS I think) who will likely follow Quin out of the door

Yeah they will, but doesn’t solve the issue: underperforming players at high salaries

They didn’t give themselves “outs”…except for Cooper who is pretty good still.

Dak contract aside…Zeke, T Smith and Lawrence play has substantially slipped. Smith is done period…Zeke isn’t close to playing at a high level, he is simply a jag and 1 season away from being completely done. Lawrence is meh…fletcher Cox, john Allen is much better interior players in the east

That will definitely hurt them. Like I said they are good team in a weak division but they are no SB contender to many holes and not enough quality.

Both the Cowboys and Eagles were "flying high" after beating an injury and COVID riddled WFT twice down the stretch. They had a false sense of who they actually were going into the post season. I think a healthy WFT would have fared better than both those teams this weekend.

Hurts is holding that team back even more than Heinicke held back the WFT. Dallas might have more talent (debatable at every position other than QB), but they are an undisciplined bunch with a shitty leader.

I have no fears going into next season. If RR and staff can upgrade the QB position, find a true #2 WR, and a solid MLB, WFT is the team to beat in my opinion.

I have been really enjoying Stephen A's taunting of Cowboys fan on ESPN.

Irony is they need Cooper to make Dak look good. If they lose Gallup and the TE and still have to cut Cooper lose they are starting from scratch

Even though it is piling on the Cowboys, which is my favourite sport, still make me cringe to see Stephen A when he does it........

I am not a big Stephen A fan, but ....... When he flames at the expense of "The Boys" and their fans, I can fully enjoy it.
