RG3 is just trying to get back into good graces here, for whatever reason. Just a short time ago he was ready to spill the beans and write a tell all book. Now we're SB contenders? RG3 is such a tool. He is so damn phony. I hate fake people like him.
Everyone always talks about our d-line. Can someone tell me what is so good about them? Just cause you're drafted in the first round doesn't mean you are an elite d-line. How many times did we see these guys get run over or unable to get to the passer? Or rush out of their lanes? Ron called it being "immature." This is the most overrated group in the NFL. Average, middle of the road d-line.
D-line definitely has a lot to prove, and they know it. They showed flashes of greatness two years ago, but nothing consistent...lot of injuries and absences due to COVID last year...
Looking for a bounce back year.

Yeah he's one of those 2 face fools that we all know at least one of... All cool with you until you leave the room.
I don't think it's that hot of a take from RG3, if enough things break our way I think the ceiling of this team could be high. SB high? Not sure about that, but making some noise in the playoffs maybe? Yeah I could see that.

So, 5 days away from first session of OTAs (https://riggosrag.com/2022/04/11/nfl-announces-dates-commanders-offseason-workout-program/), and 3 weeks from mandatory mini camp... we're still not going to sign any ILBs (https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/inside-linebacker/available/) ?

There was a report that said they are content at LB

Still a lot of time to sign a LB.

Rivera also acknowledged the need (https://www.si.com/nfl/commanders/news/washington-ron-rivera-linebackers-sign-free-agency-donta-hightower-nick-kwiatkoski-joe-schobert#gid=ci02a0d34c60002795&pid=ron-rivera-MTg5MDQwNTgxNDI1NTA1NjUx) “Well, I think if we’re looking at one position, it is gonna be linebacker,” Rivera said. “We have a good number of guys here. We’re very pleased with the number of guys we have here, but we don’t have another veteran-type guy once we get past Khaleke [Hudson], so right now, we’re just too deep. We’d like to get a few more guys to be a bit deeper there.”
I don't see how they would be ok with not being able to line up a base 4-3 defense (I know, lot of nickel, but we still play some base defense), and being one injury away from one your starting LBs being Brian Ketchup...
Ron can't publicly say they're paper thin at LB, and maybe he doesn't think they are as thin as I think they are, otherwise he would've acted earlier on this. But I still got hope they are aware they can't start the season like that.
Any free agent worth signing is playing chicken right now with potential teams. They're in no rush to sign before training camp.

Efe Obada 6’6” 265 plays big and physical, athletic DE. He looks promising as a back up to provide depth. Born in Nigeria and raised in the Netherlands and United Kingdom, he was the first international player to go straight from a European league to the NFL.
