And it was not dumb to say, no one here would be intrigued to find out why Hitler did what he did straight from the horses mouth.

And another thought. Who here knew that Jonathon Allen was fluent in German?



Compared to the other PR issues this franchise is dealing with, this is a nothing burger.

Yeah I'm not saying what he said was absolutely horrible, and he did apologize.
But come on, as a team captain is it too much to ask that you don't tweet out that out of all humanity, dead or alive, past or present, the 3 persons that you'd like to have diner with are your grand dad, Michael Jackson and Hitler ?
Is it too much to ask the team captain of an organisation which already is in a PR nightmare to think for a split second and go "ok you know what, let me keep that one for a party with my close friends and put Einstein, Julius Caesar or Neil Armstrong instead..." ?

Is it too much to ask that people don't lose their minds overreacting?

So he'd like to pick Hitler's brain and have a conversation with him - fine.
