Glad to see them get that done.

Cornelius Lucas
Tim Settle
JD McKissic
Cam Sims
Deandre Carter

That would be a nice start to the offseason.

Lucas is an ideal swing tackle…shouldn’t be hard to get done. I’m down for Settle, but how much gonna cost? I think he’s gonna want to test the market.

You're right. I meant Leno - fixed it.

Sign Settle, trade Payne. Love Settle, if given more of a role I think he would be better than Payne.

Settle is a starter in this league. I would absolutely love to keep him, but I agree, he's gonna (and should) test the market.

We need to find a way to keep Settle or Ioaniddis. Hopefully they can figure out how to keep 1 of them.

I didn't see this coming. Not a bad deal for a starting LT.

But he must be playing better than my eyes are seeing.

Edit: Leno boasts a 79.9 grade from Pro Football Focus, which is 18th among NFL tackles.

PFF isn't the end all/be all. But definitely playing better than what I thought.

Only 30, LTs can play into their 30's.

Looks like a solid deal.

18 would be right in the middle right? So he is average.

Technically, there's 64 starting tackles. If he's #18 out of 64 then he's graded out in the top 30% which appears to be how he will be paid. Current salary would rank 16th out of all LTs and 23rd out of all tackles.

Seems fair for both sides.

It said among NFL tackles, so I'm assuming that would include left and right tackles.

If that's correct, he is above average. And it's a very reasonable deal.

Top of the market for LT is $23m/yr, Leno is getting $12.5m/yr which in all likelihood will be a 2022 cap hit of about $6.5m with an option to release him later in yr 2/3 if they want to. Sounds like a good deal for a starting LT.
