We haven't had a name for a year and a half and the last three weeks are going to feel like three years! :D

In a vacuum you could probably say that most names are blah and boring. We're just used to them. In time we'll get used to Commanders too.

LOL. A very uninspired choice. They should have gone back to Zephyrs which was the franchise's original name. Before that it was Packers, but that would have gone nowhere fast and for good reason.

We haven't had a name for a year and a half and the last three weeks are going to feel like three years! :DA reason to be thankful to the front office , could you imagine waiting till free agency, the draft or God forbid July to have the official announcement? The discussions would have been horrendous. The first week of Feb makes perfect sense timing wise.

Wizards come from a contest and was not the result of a multi-year internal deliberation. But I agree, the name isn't very good.
