Here's new plans for a potential Landover site next to Fedex. Definitely a long way to go before any final decisions are made.
LOL, the property doesn't exist for those plains ,just not feasible. I worked down the road at the Old Giant warehouse facility for 18 years before they moved to the new place in Jessup and I can tell you that there is no room for those plans, a New Stadium yes sure absolutely but all that other stuff ,no.
Can I add that Maryland is not a right to work state like Virginia is, this also might have Union implications involved. JMO.

Are you kidding me? I love those billboards, 2 small Gatorades for $3 is a steal at any store!
Where else can you get a pecan log roll, smoked ham, pinata, and soft serve ice cream all for under $20?

All of these ideas are horrible. The site where the defunct RFK Stadium stands is perfect in every way for a new stadium. A reasonable owner would just kiss and make up with the Mayor and the City Council and make it happen. Having a new stadium in the right location plus a good product on the field could rejuvenate the fan base.
A new stadium in Prince William County, VA would in effect cede Southern Maryland and Prince Georges, Anne Arundel, and Montgomery Counties, not to mention D.C. itself, to the Ravens.

We are talking about 5 years from now. I just don't care. I may be dead by then. Ron won't be the coach. Hardly any of the players that are here now won't be here by then. Dan may not even be the owner.

Jeez, that would sure break my emotional bond to the team...

Its not the Mayor and City Council who can make RFK happen, its Congress. Its unlikely Congress does business with a person who they are currently investigating.

DC owns RFK Stadium but the land is owned by the Federal Govt and leased to DC only for the use of RFK stadium.
Congress does have authority over DC affairs. They review all legislation before it becomes law and can modify or overturn that legislation.

My mistake. That does complicate things for a stadium in D.C., then. Nevertheless, I still believe the site itself has many advantages as the location for a new Commanders stadium. [Insert anti-Snyder rant here].
