What an impressive start to the season. I like Beal, good for him. It feels surreal - two years ago we had Grunfeld, Scotty Brooks, an injured John Wall and his albatross of a contract. Somehow we managed to flip that for a year of Russell Westbrook and gaudy stats - but no team success and then we managed to flip him for a good squad of young talent to pair with Bradley Beal. Just an absolutely wizardly job of flipping bad contracts and old players for a young roster that can compete with most teams on the court. I couldn't be happier with the job WUJ is doing developing these guys - they are off to a great start and I hope it continues. | |
