I think as others have said he just has a low IQ in game situations. This was the second time this season he dove and came up short. The first was short of first down marker early in the season. Same situation dove unnecessarily knee down. If he is being told not to take hits on runs he does not seem to follow it uniformly. punch it in 10-25-2021, 10:13 PM Obviously a slide or dive says he thought he was taking a hit but come on. He could have gotten in without too much contact. He made an awful decision. Im not sure that they are telling him to be overly cautious to that extent.
