Also, this is interesting:

Looks like Bruce was a source for Schefty.

Florio going after Schefty.

I mean with our historically record low attendance this season it seems like the fans are doing their best to beat Dan the only way they can, through his wallet. We can’t control him selling the team, but if there was a fan base grass roots movement to stop coming to games and buying merch, maybe that would be the necessary step to get rid of Dan. Might have to play the long game, but hell, we’ve been in purgatory the last 2 years anyways, what’s wrong with a self imposed couple years of suffering for the greater good in the future. Nothing else has worked.

Considering he's not very popular with other owners or probably anyone in the league offices, if there was a stone cold lead pipe lock of a smoking gun to get rid of Snyder it would have been done by now. Dream on folks.

Heard it reported a couple of times that Snyder doesn't use email, he communicates directly by phone so I would think you are right. Whether they like him or not, he is and always has been a major embarassment to the brand. There is probably a lot of other dirt from all 32 teams in there as well that the NFL doesn't want open to public scrutiny, Gruden is a strange case of a very focused attack from someone.

650K emails? Yeah, that will drag down the whole league. The league loves the league. But so do we. Can we just release the ones that force Snyder to sell, then after he sells, bring down everyone else? We've all earned a new owner.

Dream on folks.Good point. Only counter argument is that, no matter how they dislike Dan, they wouldn't want to set a precedent of forcing an owner to sell while most of them probably have some skeletons in their cupboards too...

But I don't think anything really big is coming out of this. Gruden must have pissed the wrong people off, and once this was leaked the league wasn't going to protect a coach at the detriment of its image. They wanted to end this mess real quick
The story would be different with an owner.

When will people realize that Snyder isn't going anywhere? He is 100% owner and is here to stay.

This organization is the rock bottom of the NFL. Shitty stadium, shitty training facility, fans that are totally checked out, loser ownership, bad team w/ no QB, constant scandals going on, no team name. Ron must go to bed at night thinking was it worth it taking this job? It truly is the worst head job in the NFL.

Forcing your cheerleading squad to pose topless is pretty close.

They were not forced to do anything they did not want to do. The director was a female. This cheerleader thing was way overblown.

No, BS!

This article was first published May 2, 2018.

When the Washington Redskins took their cheerleading squad to Costa Rica in 2013 for a calendar photo shoot, the first cause for concern among the cheerleaders came when Redskins officials collected their passports upon arrival at the resort, depriving them of their official identification.

For the photo shoot, at the adults-only Occidental Grand Papagayo resort on Culebra Bay, some of the cheerleaders said they were required to be topless, though the photographs used for the calendar would not show nudity. Others wore nothing but body paint. Given the resort’s secluded setting, such revealing poses would not have been a concern for the women — except that the Redskins had invited spectators.

A contingent of sponsors and FedExField suite holders — all men — were granted up-close access to the photo shoots.

One evening, at the end of a 14-hour day that included posing and dance practices, the squad’s director told nine of the 36 cheerleaders that their work was not done. They had a special assignment for the night. Some of the male sponsors had picked them to be personal escorts at a nightclub.

Have to disagree here. The reports definitely show an unwillingness to participate but fearful of repercussions. I also am not sure what having a female director has anything to do with the scenario anyways.

Agree. Especially when their passports had been confiscated which eliminated their ability to get out of there.
