We don’t know how good Pickett or Willis or Ridder will be.
Nobody thought Josh Allen or Justin Herbert would be this good.
You can’t just say “there isn’t any great QBs in this draft” you have to keep picking one until you find that Gem.
Picketts issue is the gloves which he wears because he has small hands and they help grip the ball better.
That is a concern but not the end of the world.. Joe Burrow has small hands too but he’s doing just fine.
Kurt Warner wore gloves the last few years of his career. That means nothing. Some guys get a better grip w/ these high tec gloves. That hopefully will not stop us from drafting him.

Wow, that article was a really good summary. Based on that survey, I would pass on a first round QB pick, draft the best player available and then go with Jurkovec in the second round.
we did that and drafted Jamin Davis.

See below article regarding his hands.
https://www.profootballnetwork.com/is-kenny-pickett-qb1-in-the-2022-nfl-draft/2/#Contextualizing-Picketts-hand-size-with-historical-data
"Some reports have Pickett’s hand size at around 8.25 inches, while others tell of a figure slightly under 8. Whatever the case, this isn’t your usual hand size discussion. This is legitimate uncharted territory. A historical comparison — using data provided by resident RAS guru Kent Lee Platte — shows just how far off the map we are.
Over the past 37 seasons, 650 quarterbacks have registered hand measurements, either at combines or pro days. Of those 650 quarterbacks, Pickett would have the third-smallest hands of the group with his reported measurements. Only Tony Lowery (7.63 inches) and Doug Hudson (7.25 inches) had smaller. Divide it up, and Pickett’s hands are smaller than 99.6% of all hand measurements on record over that range. He’s in the 0.4th percentile."
That is a pretty big cause of concern imo, especially since the NFL ball is slightly larger than NCAAF.
He's older too. He will be 24 by next season. So he should be ahead of other guys right now. But other guys will probably be better in a couple years.

I would dispute that Jamin Davis was BPA when we drafted him.

Also the Rams did not use a first round pick on Warner.

This is what the combine and Pro Day workouts are for. If Pickett has trouble w/ the NFL ball then they'll see it right away. It is probably why he wears gloves, to get the grip.

Knowing what we know now he's a mid rounder at best.

I hope you aren't looking to get draft picks, they aren't worth it. QB isn't the only position that is bad in this draft. Bottomline don't trade good players for draft picks when it is a shitty draft class.
