CRedskinsRule 10-06-2021, 08:08 PM Never said RR inherited a good team. Lol. I think I started off by saying he didn’t drive us into the ground. We were already in it.
Was totally comparing Rons time in Carolina with Rhules very short time there. I am well aware of the shitshow organization that is us, his cancer, etc. It is why I didn’t really touch on that part of his career…much.
NFL execs fired Ron and replaced him with Rhule who turned around and beat Ron.
When I made my original comment about him doing more with less a couple weeks ago I thought I was clear it was a very small sample size - if not my bad. Rhule might shit the bed and get fired in two years never to coach again? Who knows?
Seriously Chief im not in love with Rhule - haven’t seen enough. This is strictly a hunch and strictly based on an extremely small window. It “appears” though that his team on both sides of the ball have bought in and it is year two. It “appears” that the team is trending up. My hunch says the guy is a good coach and will go down as a better coach than Ron. But, of course, I root for us not them so I hope Ron turns our team around and Rhule and the Panthes can fuck off. Lol. Just objective football talk Chief, and you never answered the question, would you swap coaches? I totally would. Might wind up regretting it of course but I would.Chief's last line you quoted said he would not swap. Neither would I. Coaching the WFT is not just x's and o's. There is a lot more, and RR has put a lot of order into the chaos.

My bad. I totally read his post. Twice actually. How the hell did i miss that? Lol. [emoji1786]
Agreed about WFT being a tough job. Said as much. Has he put order in the chaos? Serious question. What is different? Not saying in the long run if he hangs around he wont but what has changed to date, due to Ron?
SFREDSKIN 10-06-2021, 10:36 PM Ruhle’s best hire was Joe Brady, he’s an offensive guru, just look what he has done with Sam Darnold. He will be a HC candidate next year.

Fair enough, you never said RR inherited a good team. However, you were not comparing Ron's time in Carolina with Rhule's very short time there. You specifically stated that Rhule walked into a disaster and "in year two they “appear” to be a much improved team. In year two of Ron's time here we “appear” to have taken a step back." That is comparing RR's time with WFT to Rhule's time in Carolina.
Head to head, Rhule is 1-0. However, I think that has less to do with Rhule, and more to do with the hand each was dealt. Isn't that the game right after Haskins was stripped of his captaincy? He threw two INTs and Heinicke came in off the street to mop up?
I'm still stuck on how Rhule has less, but has done more.

It is why I said, “……much” , after referencing Rons time in Washington in that statement you are referring too.
Listen Chief we could do this until RR and Rhule retire but ……..
At the end of the day I believe Rhule is a better coach, and I believe that the current WFT has more talent on it than the current Carolina team does. You may certainly disagree with these thoughts.
Time will tell.

I respect your opinion Punch, I just disagree with it.
I think RR and company will ultimately get this thing going where we thought it should go. You are right though, time will tell.
We play the Panthers again this year on November 21. Hopefully we're rolling by then.
So far Ruhle is what, 8-12 overall in the NFL? Let's give it some time before we compare him to RR who has at least been to a SB.

Thats almost as many wins as Spurrier!
TheGuyFromOverThere 10-10-2021, 05:08 PM What´s with the kicking today? Crosby alone makes Hopkins look like Adam Vinatieri and the Andersons COMBINED.
Add the (feels like) 10 missed extra points... wow.
