That was awesome, and Congrats to RR.

We've already derailed one thread this still has to make it a day and half. Odds are not looking good.
Hopefully the players are more focused than we are.
Sheehan said on his podcast he senses something is off in the defensive locker room. He said just a feeling, no news. But yeah there has to be some sort of disconnect for our best squad, DL, and 2 of our best players, CY & Sweat, to regress that much from last year.
Hopefully they use this opportunity of facing a struggling team and limited OL to get on the same page.

The D line is doing fine. The seven dudes behind them though...

The D tackles are doing fine, the other 9 as a whole are not, is how I would phrase it.

Maybe. I have no way of breaking it down to the gnat's ass level of detail, but the D-line IS getting pressure on the QB. WFT is 2nd in the league in pressuring the QB. If it's just the DTs applying that pressure, that's even more impressive, but I don't think it is. They have all had their moments, but the defense as a whole is ___________. <----------- I can't describe it. I'm actually a little baffled.

Have you seen the clips Baldinger posted and commented on referenced in this article? He's right, no way a D lineman should be out hussled to the ball like that, by an OL on the first drive. There's no effort at all once the ball is out, and arguably little effort before it.
'Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.'
Can it be fixed? Of course, but I'm sat here wondering why a D that was so feared and played to such a high level last year suddenly starts phoning it in?

Good Q and A with a blogger from the Falcoholic:https://www.hogshaven.com/2021/10/2/22705184/washington-vs-atlanta-week-4-five-questions-with-the-falcoholic
Question 1 looks at RR in particular and the answer is great. Question 5 is more about tomorrows game and is also worth a look.
I think WFT will be ready to go. Send Atlanta to 1-3 and begin to consider the post Matt Ryan era.

They were indeed bringing quite a fair share of pressure the first 2 weeks, but last week except Payne nobody did much.
