That cloud would be temporary - way more temporary than Snyder's reign. Perhaps no QB this year in your scenario?...but the future would be B R I G H T!

If the uniform rules don't allow for changes for 5 years, I can't see the NFL being ok with multiple name changes in a very short period of time. Plus it would be an impossibly fast timeline to boot Snyder and approve a new owner, pick another name, new uniforms, and get everything in place for week 1.

Yeah that that timeline would sure be a shortcut to epic failure. Down the road though, if Snyder is out, anybody with the financial means to buy an NFL franchise probably has the ego to go with it, and renaming the team you just bought sure must be tempting, especially when the fanbase isn't very attached to the name yet. Rambling out, but it's not an impossible scenario.
